It's always an exciting time to join the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW! About the Role… We are currently looking for an Accountant to join the Finance & Administration team. This role will be responsible for managing the financial accounting process, fulfill statutory compliance requirements and assist the Financial Controller in maintenance of GL, annual reporting, budget and forecast process. As part of this role, you will be responsible for, but not limited to: - Manage bank reconciliations and operational cash forecasts.
- Prepare BAS, FBT and ABS.
- Manage capex requests and relevant entries on Fixed Assets Register.
- Prepare relevant sections on the monthly financial report.
- Prepare GL reconciliations and journals.
- Financial system administration.
- Provide support to Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables.
About you… Essential knowledge, skills & competencies - Completed tertiary accounting education.
- 2 years’ experience in an accounting/finance role.
- Have strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have strong focus on providing excellent service to internal and external clients, with the ability to address issues and requests promptly.
- Be legally entitled to live & work in Australia.
