Are you an experienced event and stakeholder coordinator with a genuine interest in agriculture and youth development? Do you enjoy building partnerships, running engaging programs, and bringing people together across regional and rural NSW?

The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) is seeking a highly organised and energetic Agricultural Youth Initiatives Event Manager to join our team and help strengthen youth engagement across the agricultural community.

Most well-known for the Sydney Royal Easter Show, the RAS also delivers year‑round initiatives that support agricultural education, competitions and community outcomes across NSW.

In this role, you will help grow the RAS presence in agricultural youth communities by developing and delivering a strong program of initiatives and events, both online and face‑to‑face. You’ll work closely with internal teams and key external partners to coordinate regional engagement activities, support committee-led programs and competitions, and help tell a united, impactful story of the RAS’ support of regional communities.

About you…

Along with experience in event/program coordination, you’ll bring strong relationship-building skills and a genuine interest in working with young people in agriculture, particularly across regional and rural communities.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or 2-3 years’ experience in administration and/or project coordination at a similar level. 
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven ability to work autonomously while also contributing effectively in a team environment. 
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. 
• Experience coordinating events (highly regarded), including scheduling, logistics and supplier/contractor coordination. 
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and comfort working across websites/social platforms (desirable). 
• A positive, proactive approach and willingness to work flexibly (including some evenings/weekends) when required.

About the Role…

Are you an experienced heritage, archives or collections professional who enjoys balancing strategy, stewardship and service? Do you thrive on leading a small specialist team, building strong relationships, and making collections accessible while ensuring long‑term preservation?

The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) is seeking a capable and proactive Manager, Heritage Centre to lead the activities and administration of the RAS Archives, Library and Museum and manage the staff within the Heritage team.

Most well‑known for the annual Sydney Royal Easter Show, the RAS also delivers a wide range of educational, cultural and community programs across NSW.

In this role you will provide leadership and direction for the Heritage Centre, delivering the Heritage strategy and ensuring strong collection management practices are in place. You will oversee archival and collection governance (including appraisal, retention, access, storage and conservation programs), manage collection growth through acquisition and donor engagement, and establish policies, procedures, planning and budgeting to support the Heritage Centre’s long‑term goals.

You will also lead the planning and delivery of exhibitions and displays, work closely with internal stakeholders and committees, and liaise externally with donors, researchers, consultants and supporters to support RAS heritage initiatives.

About you…

You are an organised and consultative leader with strong attention to detail and documentation standards, and you bring proven experience in archives/collections management and/or heritage operations. You are confident working with primary sources, implementing sound systems and processes, and providing high‑quality service to internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Eligibility for professional membership to the Australian Society of Archivists (highly regarded).
• Qualifications in History, Cultural Studies or similar (highly regarded).
• Demonstrated experience in archival/collection management, research and analysis, and working with primary sources and records.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of documentation and recordkeeping standards.
• Experience in exhibition planning and delivery (highly regarded).
• People leadership experience, including staff supervision, workload planning and performance conversations.
• Budget management capability, including monitoring expenditure and supporting annual budget/CAPEX processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and confidence preparing reports/presentations for stakeholders.

The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) is seeking an Administration Assistant to join the RAS Foundation team. This role provides administrative and coordination support to the Foundation Manager and Programs & Grants Manager across a broad range of Foundation activities, including scholarship programs, community grants, donor engagement initiatives, board meetings and fundraising activities.

About the Role

Level up your apprenticeship at the award-winning Sydney Showground. This role offers the opportunity to work in one of Australia’s premier major event venues, delivering exceptional culinary experiences for a wide range of events including conferences, gala dinners, exhibitions, major sport and music events, and the iconic Sydney Royal Easter Show.

We’re seeking a 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Chef to join our award-winning kitchen brigade. You’ll rotate through multiple outlets (banquets, production, high end corporate and retail cafes), build service speed and consistency, and complete your Certificate III in Commercial Cookery with strong mentorship and real event experience.

Roster: 5 days across 7 with early/late/weekend shifts. Extra hours may be required during major events.

Key Responsibilities

• Prep, cook and present dishes to spec across larder, grill, sauce, pastry and banquets
• Support large-scale functions and high-volume retail during live events
• Maintain strict food safety/HACCP standards, temperature logs and allergen controls
• Assist with receivals, stock rotation, labelling and section mise en place
• Clean as you go; maintain equipment and BOH areas to venue hygiene standards
• Contribute to menu trials, seasonal changeovers and event-specific menus
• Keep apprentice logbook/assessments current; attend all required TAFE/RTO training

About You

• Currently a 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Chef (or equivalent RPL) in Cert III Commercial Cookery
• Solid basic technique (knife skills, sauces, proteins) and growing speed/consistency under pressure
• Positive, reliable, coachable; communicates clearly and works well in a team
• Pride in presentation, cleanliness and safe work habits

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

• Proof you are enrolled as a 2nd or 3rd year (TAFE/RTO) or eligible for RPL into 2nd/3rd year
• Right to work in Australia; ability to meet event roster (nights/weekends/public holidays)
• Food Safety/Hygiene awareness

Desirable

• Previous banquets or high-volume event experience
• First Aid/WHS awareness

Training & Development

• Structured section rotations and mentoring with qualified Chefs
• Exposure to high end, venue catering and stadium event service
• Support for assessments and study release by agreement
• Access to internal learning and development opportunities

Sydney Showground is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Floor Manager to coordinate and oversee the successful delivery of events across our world-class venue precinct.

As the primary on-site contact for clients during events, you will be responsible for ensuring client requirements are met while maintaining Sydney Showground's high standards of presentation, safety and service delivery.

Working closely with clients, contractors, event staff and internal departments, you will coordinate venue operations including event setup, crowd management, ticketing, patron movement, signage, contractor activities and venue presentation. You will identify and resolve operational issues, facilitate event requirements and ensure services are delivered efficiently and safely.

The role also plays an important part in maintaining Workplace Health and Safety standards, monitoring compliance, managing risks and protecting the interests of the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW, its guests and its assets.

About the Role…

Are you an experienced ticketing, accreditation or event operations professional looking to take ownership of a critical function within one of Australia's busiest event precincts?

Sydney Showground is seeking a highly organised and proactive Ticketing & Accreditation Manager to lead the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of ticketing, accreditation and access control operations across a diverse portfolio of events.

This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of ticketing and accreditation services for exhibitions, concerts, festivals, sporting events and major public events held across Sydney Showground and ENGIE Stadium. You will work closely with event organisers, promoters, ticketing agents, operational teams and external stakeholders to ensure safe, seamless and efficient access for patrons, exhibitors, contractors, workforce and authorised personnel.

From ticketing builds and accreditation planning through to event-day delivery and post-event reporting, you will play a key role in ensuring events operate smoothly while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will oversee ticket allocations, seating manifests, access permissions, accreditation systems, reporting, operational planning and event-day readiness, while managing relationships with ticketing providers, clients, security teams, contractors and internal stakeholders.

As the venue's ticketing and accreditation specialist, you will identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and customer outcomes while helping shape the future of event access and operational delivery at Sydney Showground.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a dynamic event environment, thrives under pressure and is comfortable working flexible, event-driven hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays when required.

About you…

You are a detail-oriented and solutions-focused professional with experience in ticketing, accreditation, venue operations or event delivery.

You enjoy working with people, solving operational challenges and coordinating multiple stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes. You take ownership of your work, communicate confidently and remain calm when managing competing priorities in fast-paced environments.

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

• Tertiary qualifications in Venue Management, Event Management or a related field
  Current Class C Driver's Licence
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven customer service and stakeholder management skills
• Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety requirements
• Experience coordinating ticketing, accreditation, venue operations or event logistics
• Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Confidence working independently and taking ownership of outcomes
• Ability to build productive relationships with clients, promoters, contractors, suppliers and internal teams
• Confidence using Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with ticketing systems and event management software highly regarded

Desirable:

• 3+ years' experience in ticketing, accreditation, venue operations or event management

• Previous experience working on major events

• Understanding of crowd management, access control or front-of-house operations

• Experience using Momentus Event Business Management System, AutoCAD or

• Event Draw

• Experience using ticketing software

• Responsible Service of Alcohol competency certificate

• Senior First Aid certificate

• Fire Warden certification
