About the Role We’re looking for a Digital Executive - Email Marketing to design, build and optimise data-informed email programs across the RAS. In this 12-month fixed term position you will own the email lifecycle, from audience strategy and template/module development in HubSpot to automation, testing and performance reporting. Driving growth, engagement and retention for the Sydney Royal Easter Show and other RAS brand pillars.
Key Responsibilities - Build and execute personalised email campaigns and automated workflows in HubSpot; maintain a seasonal campaign calendar.
- Design and maintain responsive templates and custom modules to ensure on-brand and accessible communications.
- Segment and manage CRM audiences; improve data hygiene to increase deliverability and conversion.
- Run A/B tests and translate outcomes into clear recommendations and next steps.
- Support acquisition and re-engagement initiatives (email, SMS, push) across RAS business units; ensure content meets brand and campaign guidelines.
- Monitor privacy and compliance (e.g., Australian Privacy Principles, GDPR) and contribute insights to leadership and partners.
About You - Self-starter who loves solving problems and testing to improve and innovate; calm under pressure and deadlines.
- Exceptionally organised, detail-driven and able to juggle multiple priorities.
- A clear, collaborative communicator who partners well with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
- Creative, data-informed thinker with a practical approach to getting things done.
Qualifications & Experience Essential - Tertiary qualification in Marketing (or related).
- 2–4 years in digital/email marketing with hands-on HubSpot experience (automation, CRM, segmentation).
- Experience building email templates/modules; have a strong grasp of deliverability, list management and best practice.
- Experience developing and maintaining customer segmentation - be able to apply engagement-based data to improve targeting and increase campaign performance
- Solid Microsoft Office skills; understanding of privacy and consent frameworks.
Desirable - Familiarity with APIs/web technologies; experience with Hubl/HubDB.
- Project management experience and working with agency partners.
Hours & Flexibility Core hours 08:30–17:00 with potential flexibility. Some evening/weekend work aligned to major events; additional hours as required by demand.
