About the Role

We’re on the search for a Logistics Administrator & Receivals Clerk to join the award winning Sydney Showground team.

In this hybrid role, you’ll keep the engine room of our Food & Beverage logistics running smoothly. Receiving goods, reconciling documentation, supporting purchasing, and coordinating beverage inventory for events across our busy calendar, including the Sydney Royal Easter Show.

You’ll blend hands on receivals with accurate admin and HACCP compliant processes to ensure everything is in the right place, at the right time, in the right condition.
Working closely with Food & Beverage, Finance, and suppliers, you’ll help maintain clean, safe loading docks and storage areas, manage stock movement and paperwork, and support timely payments and reporting.

This is a fast paced, collaborative environment where your organisation and accuracy directly impact event delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receivals & HACCP: Receive and inspect food and beverage goods complete HACCP checklists, label and store to standards and report all nonconformances.
  • Inventory & Requisitions: Support stock control and rotation, collect and deliver F&B requisitions for events and assist with monthly F&B stocktakes.
  • Procurement Admin: Raise purchase orders, receipt invoices to purchase orders, liaise with Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payment.
  • Order Management: Track outstanding/back orders; follow up suppliers; maintain accurate digital and physical records and reports.
  • Facilities & Security: Maintain a clean, organised loading dock,  secure storage and ensure only authorised personnel have access.
  • General: Set a positive example for safety, service and teamwork.
  • Roster: Some evening and weekend work is required across a 7 day roster.

About You

  • Safety conscious with strong attention to detail..
  • Highly organised, reliable under pressure and a proactive problem solver.
  • Clear communicator with solid interpersonal skills. A team player who can also work independently.
  • Comfortable switching between hands on receivals and desk based administration.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Food Handling & Hygiene Certificate, NSW RSA, and WHS training/awareness.
  • Understanding of HACCP, food safety standards and food and beverage operations.
  • Data entry accuracy; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word) and inventory/logistics software.

Desirable

  • Forklift licence and manual driver licence.
  • Experience in events logistics or hospitality coordination.
