About the Role…

We have an opportunity for a graduate accountant to join the Finance team.  In this role, you will assist with monitoring and maintaining accounts receivable functions as well as assisting with various aspects of financial accounting and reporting functions.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Ensuring daily cash receipts are performed timely and accurately
  • Providing reports on debtors positions
  • Reconciling debtors control accounts
  • Providing assistance on journal preparations and account reconciliations
  • Assist with monthly stock take and administration of the F&B inventory system
  • Data analysis in order to maintain data integrity

About you…

To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:

  • Completed Tertiary studies in Accounting
  • Demonstrated experience solving complex problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience developing good relationships across various organisational levels
  • Ability to acquire knowledge quickly and accurately
  • Be energetic and committed
  • Proven history of being punctual & reliable
  • Have excellent communication & interpersonal skills,
  • Be able to work weekdays, weekends and late nights
  • Have a positive “can do” attitude
  • Be legally entitled to live & work in Australia.
  • Be willing to undertake a police clearance check if required
