About the Role We are seeking an experienced and polished Executive Administrator to deliver high-level executive support, strategic coordination, and seamless end-to-end delivery of all Council-related events and programs. This exciting position reports to the Executive Assistant to the RAS President and Chief Executive and works across high-profile areas such as the President’s Medal Competition & Event, House Committee, and Council operations. Key responsibilities: - Strategic coordination | Support RAS's corporate strategic directions, track deliverables and prepare corresponding reports.
- Event Delivery | Plan and execute Council events, including the President’s Medal annual awards dinner, delivering VIP-level standards with precision, adherence to protocol, and alignment with brand and values.
- Council Stand Oversight | Style, coordinate, and manage displays, furnishings, and guest experience during the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
- President's Medal & House Committe | Administer competition and meeting logistics, documentation, agendas, minutes, and outcomes.
- Executive Support | Draft speeches, communications, and provide administrative support for Council operations.
- Stakeholder Liaison | Work closely with internal teams, government officials, and key external partners to deliver coordinated, high-profile experiences.
- Post-Event Evaluation | Prepare comprehensive debriefs and stakeholder feedback to inform continuous improvement.
- Additional Duties | Support other Executive-level projects and act as a flexible, collaborative team player.
About You You are a confident and articulate professional with a proven record of executive support and high-impact event delivery. Known for your discretion, initiative, and meticulous attention to detail, you excel at managing competing priorities with precision. Your organisational strengths, diplomatic acumen, and strategic execution will help uphold the RAS’s reputation for excellence.
Essential Criteria - 3–5 years in an executive support or senior administrative role.
- Proven experience managing or coordinating corporate events.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and event software tools.
- Unwavering attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
